The Veterans at the Library held their weekly meeting at the Library Monday morning, March 24, at 9 a.m. With Chair Johnny Tapley presiding, there were 40 in attendance. Shari Watt provided a great breakfast of sausage, blueberry pancakes, bananas, oranges, orange juice, grape juice, apple juice and coffee. The Beta Sigma Phi organization presented a check to the Veterans for the Veteran’s trip to the 8th Army Air Museum in Savannah on Friday, April 11. The speaker this morning was Michael Bright, owner of the Music Memories Museum, located at 215 W Main Street in Swainsboro, located inside the Main Street Market Antique Mall. It is climate-controlled atmosphere with over 60 dealer’s booths filled with antiques, collectibles, furniture, home decor, man cave items and unique gifts.
