Lisa Scarboro, a lifelong resident of Emanuel County, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Community Hospice in Vidalia after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at Grey’s Landing in Uvalda, Friday, December 22, at 3 p.m.

Lisa loved her family, friends and fishing. Ms. Scarboro is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Joyce and Dave McIntee of Swainsboro; father and stepmother, John and Velma Henry of Glenwood.

Ms. Scarboro is survived by two children, Nick (Amy) Bedgood of Warner Robins and Austin (Amber Kay) Scarboro of Swainsboro; her love of 17 years, Robbie Wheeler; two brothers, John (Janet) Henry of Glenwood and Wayne Hall of Soperton; five sisters, Lynn (Randy) Smith of Swainsboro, Carlene (Jerry) Lyles of Soperton, Nita (Walt) Seabolt of Alamo, Theresa (Tim) Carey of Glenwood and Lynn (Tony) Brown of Dallas, Ga; her dearly loved aunt, Jean Henry; dear friends, Glen and Judy Chalker; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
