Mrs. Cathy Jo Hirschy, 70, of Oak Park, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Can-dler Hospital in Savannah following an extended illness. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverends Ros Parker and Zeke Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, De-cember 28, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Raven Rachels, Tom Parillo, Jordan Prew, Jesse Hirschy, Ray Parillo and Gage Gay.

Cathy was born June 25, 1953, in Van Wert, OH, to the late Russell H. Shook and Betty Toker Shook. Mrs, Hirschy is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hirschy is survived by her husband, Paul Hirschy of Oak Park; sons, Josh Hirschy (Kim) of Englewood, FL and Jason Hirschy (Michelle) of Arcadia, FL; daughters, Amber Hirschy (Raven) of Oak Park and Traci Parillo (Tom) of Swainsboro; brother, Mark Shook (Peggy) of Antwerp, OH; sisters, Nancy Shook of Antwerp, OH and Debbie Basso of Niles, MI; grand-children, Krystal Hirschy, Alexis Hirschy, Jordan Prew, Laura Hirschy, Jesse Hirschy, Destine Hirschy, Raymond Parillo, Jason J. Hirschy, Lizzabeth Hirschy, Wyatt Parillo, Scott Hirschy and Terrance Hirschy; friends, Charles Renew, Ros Parker and Joy Parker; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
