DAR presents map to Franklin Memorial Library

The Governor David Emanuel – Adam Brinson Chapter of the DAR recently presented the Franklin Memorial Library with a framed print of a pictorial map of Georgia identifying various sites, architecture and historical events. The map was presented to Windy Ward, Franklin Memorial Librarian, by Teresa Mason, Governor David Emanuel-Adam Brinson Chapter Librarian. The print will be permanently displayed in the library, but most recently was made part of the Veteran’s Day display to recognize the many people who have served in the military to defend our freedom, regardless of the war or conflict. DAR encourages you to remember their sacrifices and always show your appreciation for their service.
