Deborah Diane Blair Mills, 70, departed this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, October 19, at 11 a.m. at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Charles Holloway officiating.

Deborah was born September 4, 1953, in Emanuel County, to the late Cephus Barkley and Mattie Blair Flewellyn. She was raised by her grandparents, Fannie W. Singleton Mathis and Willie Mathis, whom she loved dearly. Deborah married Albert Lee Mills (Shug) and two children were born before preceding her in death. She enjoyed going to Gospel Quartet, especially the Blair Brothers, music, shopping, flea markets and jewelry collecting. Ms. Mills is preceded in death by her son, Timothy Blair; daughter, Cheryl Lanette Blair; aunts and uncles.

Ms. Mills is survived by two sons, Kentrell (Angela) Mills of Dublin and Ricardo Dwayne (Kezia) Mills of Oklahoma; brother, Jack (Yolanda) Blair of Elmira, NY; sisters, Kathy Barkley of Crisfield, MD and Michelle Barkley of South Carolina; nine grandchildren, LynQuez Blair, Shawntionna Lodge, Cherrelle Blair, Jaquavious White, Anaya Mack, Nyonna Mills, Malachi Mills, Quentin Dixon and Denzel Dixon; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
