Eagles fall in heartbreaker to John Hancock

The Eagles came up just short Friday night, falling 56–55 to the John Hancock Rebels in a tightly contested matchup. Ethan Fields led all scorers with a game-high 26 points, adding 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Karson Kettles delivered a strong all-around performance with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals. Jack Evan Fields finished with 4 points and 5 rebounds, while Ben Griner and Peyton Templeton each added 4 points. Templeton also contributed 3 assists and 3 steals. Layton Terwilliger rounded out the scoring with 3 points and pulled down 6 rebounds.

The Eagles turned their focus to the Region Tournament, which began yesterday, February 11, at Thomas Jefferson Academy in Louisville. They faced the Twiggs Academy Trojans at 7:30 p.m.
