April 27

Deputies responded to Youmans Cemetery R. in reference to a drowning.

Deputies responded to Frank Hutcheson Rd. in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated offender was making threats towards him and he wanted her removed from his residence. Complainant was highly intoxicated, and was advised they could not remove offender from the home. It was reported that c/p had not slept in four days and had been binge drinking for the past five days and gave the name of a female who was supplying c/p with alcoholic beverages. Both parties had visible marks stemming from domestic altercations

Deputy spoke with a male subject in reference to a call the night prior that occurred at Best Western. Deputies were dispatched in reference to an unwanted person. Complainant advised the female took items that did not belong to her.

April 28

Deputy observed driver using his cell phone while driving, at which time he initiated a traffic stop.

The vehicle was found to have suspended registration. Deputy could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and requested K-9 Chachi, then asked the driver if he had any marijuana in the vehicle and he stated he did not. Chachi arrived and positively alerted on the driver’s door. A search was performed to find marijuana packaged in several bags and a grinder. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Victim stated her ex-boyfriend stated he was going to see her, and nobody was going to stop him. Victim stated she is scared of offender and doesn’t want to see him.

Deputy was dispatched to Red Oak Rd. in reference to offender refusing to turn music down, as well as possibly having a firearm. Complainant stated offender was making slight threats to her and when deputy tried to meet with offender multiple times about turning the music down, he stood in the door holding his phone recording. Offender kept asking deputy for his badge number and it was provided each time. Once offender turned the music down, he kept making head movements toward the side of his bed like he was looking for something. Offender agreed to leave for the night.

April 30

Complainant reported someone went in his vehicle and took $80 cash while at the Marathon Gas Station.

Deputy was dispatched to W. 3rd Ave. in reference to damage to a vehicle.

May 1

Deputy took a walk-in report where complainant stated EmCo workers were mowing grass and a rock slung into his windshield. C/p also stated barbwire was caught underneath his truck which was thrown from the workers as well.

May 2

Deputies were dispatched to Payton Rd. in reference to a domestic. Deputies were advised that one individual was cut, a male was hiding in the woods, and someone began shooting at the male hiding in the woods.

May 3

Deputy was responding to McKinney’s Pond Rd. when advised the person left in a vehicle. Deputy observed a vehicle traveling 78-80 MPH on Hwy 56 North, at which time he turned around and attempted to perform a traffic stop but the vehicle accelerated speed, then run off the road and slam on brakes, causing the vehicle to swerve before coming to a stop. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
