June 23
Deputy responded to Bobwhite Rd. in reference to property damage. Complainant stated he heard a loud thud that came from under his carport and walked around to find glass on the ground next to his truck, as well as a baseball size hole through the back glass of his vehicle. C/p advised that once he opened the back door of his vehicle, he saw a brown metallic object that resembled a bullet.
Offender was leaving a residence on Sally Cir. and struck a guide wire to an EEMC light pole, breaking the wire.
June 24
Complainant stated she had $226 missing off her EBT card.
June 26
Deputy responded to Union Chapel Rd. in reference to stolen checks. Complainant stated two individuals stole victim’s checks. One offender stole $1,000 and the other stole $7,000 from victim’s account. Victim also paid a male subject $1,200 for a car that he has not received.
Complainant stated he ordered checks from NFCU in FL and never received them and found out offender electronically deposited $1,900 into her account.
June 27
Complainant stated he attempted t go under a low hanging power line and misjudged his clearance causing the line to get caught between the tractor and trailer and snapped the power pole.
June 28
Deputies responded to Keith Screws Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated her son/offender suffers from schizophrenia and went into her room and pulled her out of her bed because he wanted her car keys.
Deputies were dispatched to Georgia Ave. in reference to damage to a county-maintained dirt road. It appeared as thought a tractor made circles in the road with a plow and both sides were also dug with a plow. Some spots were so extensive that deputy’s patrol car scrubbed. Deputy made contact with complainant who advised of the person responsible, and an address was given. Deputy made contact with a male subject at the location, and he advised the reason the damage was done was due to occupants and guests form another residence speeding down the dirt road. The male subject was advised the road had to be fixed or offender could be charged with criminal damage.
Deputies responded to Wadley Coleman Lake Rd. in reference to a vehicle in the ditch. Caller advised she stopped to check on the occupants and was advised not to call the law. Upon arrival, victim was sitting in the driver seat, and offender was out of the vehicle. The vehicle was found to have no insurance and the tag was suspended. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail and the vehicle was towed.
June 29
Deputies responded to Sam Overstreet Rd. in reference to a welfare check. EMS was requested in reference to altered mental status of victim. It was determined that victim has dementia and was turned over to her neighbor.
June 30
Deputies were dispatched to Hereford Cir. in reference to complainant stating his neighbor’s dog tried to attack him.
