Elinda Rountree Williams, age 70, made her transition on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Comfort Creek Nursing Home in Wadley following an extended illness. A Homecoming Celebration was held Saturday, October 18, at 11 a.m. at William Grove Holiness Church with Bishop Bertha B. Jones officiating.

Elinda was born February 15, 1955, the sixth of seven children to the late Woodrow and Fannie Mae Rountree. While being challenged from birth with a chronic illness, she always insisted on caring for others. Elinda used her God given gifts of crocheting and sewing to enhance the lives of others. Her cooking and baking skills will always be remembered by her grandchildren whom she cherished and loved very much. Elinda loved the Lord and was a member of Williams Grove Holiness Church, where she was song leader in the choir. Ms. Williams is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Isaac Rountree.

Ms. Williams leaves to mourn her passing with her children, Lakeisha (Rudolph) Anthony, Nicole Williams, Clevie Williams and Reco Williams; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
