Elizabeth Claudia Williams-Washington, age 76, beloved sister, grandmother, auntie, cousin and friend, departed this life Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Emanuel Medical Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Pas-tor Mabel Clark officiating.

Elizabeth, also lovingly known as Honeybunch, was born July 8, 1948, in Millen, to the late Lu-genia Davis-Williams and John (Johnnie) Henry Williams. They later moved to Emanuel Coun-ty where she attended public school. At an early age, Elizabeth developed strong roots in the Word of God as she reared in church by her mother and joined Trinity Baptist Church after transitioning to Emanuel County. She often found comfort in doing word search puzzles, as well as watching westerns and soap operas. Elizabeth had such a deep love for her family and never held hatred in her heart for anyone. Mrs. Washington is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie James (C.J.) Washington; daughter, Rosezella Washington; brother, Willie Lee Williams #2; half-brothers, Johnny Williams, Jr. and Willie Lee Williams #1.

Mrs. Washington leaves her memories with her brother, Ralph Coleman Williams; two grand-children; four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
