Em BOE holds monthly meeting

The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the County Office with the following members in attendance: Cherie Hooks, Brandon Jones, Jeanette Harden, Del Brown, John Allen Bailey, and Elizabeth DeVane. Tanya Lane was not pre-sent. Board Chair Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Elizabeth DeVane delivered the invocation followed by Cherie Hooks leading the Pledge of Allegiance. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the agenda. Brandon Jones seconded the motion. Cherie Hooks, Brandon Jones, Jeanette Harden, Del Brown, John Allen Bailey, and Elizabeth DeVane voted “yes”. CARRIED.

SUPERINTENDENT’S COMMENTS

Dr. Warnock welcomed everyone. Thank Board Members for their attendance at GSBA Sum-mer Conference and Policy Workshop.
