The Emanuel County Republican Party held its monthly September meeting! Chairwoman Lisa Parham led a memorial in honor of Mr. Robert Nobles, former Emanuel County Republican Party Member, and Charlie Kirk, followed by a memorial prayer by Reverend Willie Bush. The meeting also featured two key speakers who addressed both local developments, and the impact of President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” benefiting agriculture. Attendees first heard from Johnny Tapley, a candidate for Mayor of Swainsboro, who outlined his vision for the city’s future, focusing on strategies for growth, community improvement and streamlined local governance. Following the mayoral hopeful, local Emanuel County Farmer Carson Cross took the floor to discuss the tangible benefits President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill ” is delivering and benefiting Georgia Farmers. Cross highlighted how the sweeping legislation is strengthening the agricultural safety net, making crop insurance more affordable, and providing significant tax relief for farm families. The meeting concluded with questions for both speakers, reinforcing the party’s leadership to federal policies that directly affect the rural economy. Under the Leadership of Chairwoman Lisa Parham, The Emanuel County Republican Party hosts monthly meetings the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at The Rustic Grill in Swainsboro.
