Mrs. Eva Mae Smith, age 82, of Twin City, peacefully passed Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Willow Springs Church Cemetery in Twin City. Public viewing will take place for one hour prior to the service.

Eva was born June 23,1942, in Jenkins County, to the late Theodore (Buddy) Robinson and Lula Mae Robinson. She was married to the late Louis Smith Jr., and together they had two children, Marlo Senta Smith and Gantry Smith. Eva’s siblings are Lillie Reynolds, Johnny Robinson (deceased), Mary Cross, Felix Robinson and Stanley Robinson. Her family spans four generations with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

Eva touched countless lives with her loving, gentle and generous spirit, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was strong as she endured and overcame many obstacles that she encountered throughout her life.

Eva poured her heart into hairdressing, transforming her beauty shop into a sanctuary of creativity and care. Her passion for styling hair was matched by her joy in uplifting and empowering her clients, making each visit a personal and meaningful experience.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Whitaker Funeral Home of Metter.
