Franklin Memorial Library announces Summer Reading Program registration

We are so excited and pleased to announce that we are accepting registration for the Summer Reading Program all month long! All you need to do is come in and ask to sign up and our staff at the circulation desk will gladly help you. Upon registration, you will receive a bag of upcoming crafts and performances starting at the end of May leading into the entire month of June. These performances and crafts are free for the whole family to enjoy and we encourage you to attend, have fun,and create summer memories.

Our performances and crafts are as follows:

Chad Crews Magic Show – May 29 at 2 p.m.

Adult crafts EVERY Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

GSU Wildlife Center Animal Performance – June 3 at 11 a.m.

Teen crafts EVERY Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

Bryan Robert Magic Show – June 10 at 2 p.m.

Children’s crafts – June 5 and June 12 at 10:30 a.m. or 3 p.m.

The Library Staff Performance – June 17 at 11 a.m.

Twin City’s Welcome Center EVERY Monday at 10:30 a.m. for crafts and SRP incentives

Barry Mann Story Teller – June 24 at 11 a.m.

Toddler Time EVERY Friday at 10:30 a.m.

Please keep in mind that crafts hosted at the library require registration and you may register the Monday before that week’s craft.

These performances are made possible by our sponsors: Quality Air Heating & Air Specialist, Robins Financial Credit Union, Durden Banking Company, Citizens Bank of Swainsboro, Veterans of the Library, Friends of Franklin Memorial library, Swainsboro Kiwanis Club and Texas Roadhouse.
