Tomorrow, July 10, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., will be our Christmas in July Celebration. We will have games, crafts, and much more available during this time. We will host Toddler Time Friday, July 11, at 10:30 a.m. with special guests and local author Lacey Henneman and illustrator Kayla Jeffcoat. Their book “The Adventures of Tiggy: A Trip to the Bahamas” will be showcased and read by Lacey at Toddler Time. The Summer Reading Program will come to an end July 19, and grand prize winners for the different age groups will be announced. Upon those announced, we will call you and ask for you to come to the library for a picture with your prize. July isn’t as filled with as many things and activities as June, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped planning. In the meantime, we are here to help to the best of our abilities and look forward to seeing you. Did you know that if you have a book due and don’t have the time to stop by our library, you can call us at (478) 237.7791 and ask to renew your books over the phone. Please have your library card number available, read it to us over the phone and we will renew your books for you. We also have free notary services available; please do not sign anything without being in the presence of one of our notaries and have your up-to-date license with you, along with all parties pertaining to the document(s) present. For more information, please call or visit us at 331 West Main Street, Swainsboro.
