Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 78th Annual Pine Tree Festival and Southeast Timber Expo! This year’s festivities promise to be more thrilling and vibrant than ever! The event kicks off at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 25, with the much-anticipated Pine Tree Festival Tennis Tournament at East Georgia State College. Feel the energy and excitement as athletes take to the courts, competing until Sunday, April 27. On Saturday, April 26, join us for a momentous occasion—the crowning of the 78th Annual Pine Tree Festival Queen and her court! Head to the East Georgia State College auditorium at 10 a.m. to witness the elegance and grace of the contestants lighting up the stage.As the sun sets on Friday, May 2, the rhythm takes over Downtown Swainsboro with the opening ceremonies of the electrifying Rhythm and Pines Music Festival! Starting at 6 p.m., get ready to groove and celebrate in the county lot with the Gospel Stage, while the Sams Drive-In Band sets the mood at Fountain Square. Continue the excitement at the Nordson Center with Twin City native CJ Mincey opening for Rhett Blount and Friends. Then swing over to the Boneyard Pavilion at 8 p.m. to see the legendary Swingin’ Medallions take the stage and dance the night away.On Saturday morning, May 3, rise early for the Knotty Pine 5K, where runners of all ages will take on the streets of downtown Swainsboro! Don’t miss the Grand Parade at 10 a.m.! Grab a good spot on Main Street and soak in the festive atmosphere as floats and cheers fill the air. After the parade, hold onto your hats for the Nerveless Nocks, who will amaze you with their jaw-dropping skills on towering sway poles—without safety harnesses. Prepare to be wowed! Stroll through downtown and immerse yourself in a world of creativity at the many arts and crafts vendors on site. Marvel at classic cars at the Southprong Timber Car Show, and treat your taste buds to mouthwatering delights from various food vendors ready to tantalize your senses.Make sure to catch a captivating performance by the Showtime Canines at the Boneyard Pavilion—these acrobatic pups are sure to steal your heart with their incredible flips and tricks! After the festival, head over to Swainsboro Raceway, located off Highway 56, where you can experience the bustling atmosphere as drivers from across the U.S. race Dixie-style at the annual Pine Tree 100.

End the festivities with a bang at the 5th Annual Party in the Pines at the Georgia Sports Arena on Saturday, May 3, or get a jumpstart by attending their first show on Friday, May 2. The thrills begin at 7 p.m., where you’ll witness the toughest cowboys and bullfighters take on the wildest bulls.You won’t want to miss a single moment of this exhilarating festival—join us for an experience that you’ll remember for years to come! Let the celebrations begin!
