The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro held its weekly meeting Tuesday night, October 21, at the Rustic Grill at 6:30 p.m. With Dianna Wedincamp presiding, they had 14 in attendance including EGSC Circle K members Eddie Hudson and Destiny Wilcher. Tim Goodman won the cookies donated by Karolina Cerpovicz, Tim Goodman also won the Domino’s pizza donated by Dominos and gave the pizza to the Circle K members, and Paul Cerpovicz and Tim Goodman won the pepper jelly provided by Paul Cerpovicz. President Dianna gave information about activities at the new Karrh Center. Director Michael Harden indicated one event for the new center is a morning showing of Christmas movies for school children to begin on December 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will last for about two weeks. Tim Goodman gave the club the annual Youth Protection update and an update on the 2025-2026 Georgia District of Kiwanis. He also announced the run timing for the Nunez to Lexsy run on November 1 has been cancelled. They are possibly planning a Resolution Run on January 1 or January 3. Details will follow. President Dianna thanked the Circle K members for their attendance and Paul Cerpovicz, Tim Goodman and David Gribbin for their work with Circle K. David is the Circle K Faculty Advisor and Paul is the Kiwanis Club Circle K Advisor.
