After his presentation, Hattaway took a great number of questions that the veterans asked him. Chair Tapley then talked about the great success of the 1st Annual Veterans Cup Golf Tournament and their plans for next year’s event. He then discussed the Veterans and 1st Responders Memorial Park clean-up day that was held on Saturday morning, May 25th. He also talked about Veterans Appreciation Day on Memorial Day, May 27 starting with a breakfast at the Emanuel County Medical Center at 9 a.m. followed by a ceremony at the Veterans and 1st Responders Memorial Park at 11 a.m.
