Lee Herron and Steve Burke, members of the Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, traveled to Statesboro to present a living history Revolutionary War program to students at the Statesboro Library as part of the Georgia Historical Society on Friday, December 5. The program began at 11 a.m., attended by around 32 students. The presentation was presented by Lee Herron on “Capt. Jouett, Paul Revere of the South”, and he helped Steve Burke with the Travelin Trunk on the Revolutionary War. LaPortia Mosley is the Community Engagement Officer for the Georgia Historical Society.
