Gifts Galore Monogramming & More sponsored their 3rd annual t-shirt design contest inviting and encouraging all school age children in Emanuel County to join in CREATING A TEE. Children were asked to draw or sketch what they think HOME means to them, what they love about the Pine Tree Festival and what makes our HOMEtown the best.

GG partnered with Berni’s on West Main, Stephanie Miller with Y96 and the Ultimate Bullfighters 5th annual Party in the Pines, Leanna’s, New Generation Nutrition and Bigdog Snow Cones. They received tons of drawings for a few weeks that were judged by Emanuel Arts Council and three out-of-town graphic art designers.

Amongst all the talented entries, Wilson Howell was the winner, Logan Hammock received first place and Walter Clark received second place. Howell’s artwork was displayed on a tee for him for the Pinetree Festival. Wilson received the following: designed t-shirt with his drawing sponsored by Gifts Galore Monogramming & More, free kid’s meal from Berni’s, free entry into the Ultimate Bullfighters Party sponsored by Stephanie with Y96, slice of cheesecake from Leanna’s, a kid friendly festival drink sponsored by New Generation Nutrition and The Big Bowl Snow Cone sponsored by Bigdog Snow Cones. Hammock and Clark were awarded a Scoops gift card. Howell, Hammock and Clark are third graders in Mrs. Dianne Lawson’s class at David Emanuel Academy. Congratulations to all three!

Gifts Galore Monogramming & More wants to thank all the judges, as well as all the teachers and parents that allow their student/child to participate each year.
