James Willie Webb, Jr., age 65, stepped out of time and into eternity on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, after an extended illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Mario D. Webb, Sr. officiating and Pastor Malachi Lockett presiding. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

James was born November 18, 1958, in Emanuel County, to the late James and Mary Lewis Webb. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many. Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Conney Webb; daughter, La’Tarsha Lanier; grandson, Eric “EJ” Foreman; sisters, Willie Ann Smith and Bessie Mae Warren; and brother, Curtis Lewis.

Mr. Webb leaves to cherish his memories with his son, Jamar Webb of Orangeburg, SC; daughter, Jamesha Webb of Adrian; grandchildren, Lazaria Webb, Kihanna Webb, Serenity Webb, Kaylee Boles, LaMarqus Webb and Tyler Lanier; four sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
