Mrs. Jeannette “Puff” Mamie Webb, age 80, of Twin City, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her residence following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Grandson Wesley Webb officiating. Interment followed at Swainsboro City Cemetery. Family received friends Saturday, March 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Derek Webb, John Wilder Page, Zach McBroom, Micah Webb, Titus Webb and Gage Bell.

Puff was born March 21, 1944, in Swainsboro, to Otis Lee Kirby and Irene Cain Kirby. She was a member of United Primitive Baptist Church for many years. Puff enjoyed cooking throughout her life and cooked for four-star generals all the way up to the Governor of Georgia. She always enjoyed entertaining her family, along with canning fruits and vegetables. Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Thomas Webb and William Williams; daughter, Theresa Langford; sisters, Bessie Mae Kirby, Lillian Klein, Phyllis Hammock, Bobbie Jean Riner and Nellie Ruth Wilson; brothers, Lee Kirby, Joe Kirby, David Kirby and Willie Milton Kirby.

Mrs. Webb is survived by her sons, Terry Webb (Rhonda) of Swainsboro, Tim Webb (Angie) of Warner Robins, Thomas Webb, Jr. of Swainsboro and Tyson Webb of Reidsville; daughter, Tonya Morel (John) of Greensboro; brother, Jerry Kirby of Pooler; sister, Margaret Smith of Swainsboro; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to: Pruitt Hospice, 667 South Main Street, Swainsboro, GA 30401

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
