Kameron Jamel Williams, age 4, left this world unexpectedly on Sunday, June 22, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held Monday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Lexsy with Pastor Delmus Mosley officiating.

Kameron was born December 29, 2020, in Statesboro, to Whitley Williams and De’Rico Burrell. He was a very special kid in the family in many ways and was diagnosed with Autism Level 2 (non-verbal). Kameron loved watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse videos, his favorite food was Nacho Doritos, and he was infatuated with the vacuum cleaner. Even though Kameron was unable to communicate verbally, he expressed himself in many ways. He showed his love by giving hugs and kisses to those he knew. Kameron was demanding at times and would take over your favorite drink and drink it himself. When he wanted something, he would grab your hand and guide you. Kameron was very smart and loved watching videos on the cellphone, which he knew how to operate very well. He was a student at Metter Elementary School and also attended Rashida’s Daycare, where a special bond formed with the owner, Rashida Taylor. Kameron loved his many cousins, but he had a special bond with his first cousin, Peanut. They played together often, whether he was chasing Peanut or Peanut was chasing him, they always had fun spending time together. Kameron knew how much he was loved, and he touched the hearts of those whom he loved and supported him.

Kameron leaves behind his mother, Whitley Williams (Marquete) of Metter; father, De’Rico Burrell of Swainsboro; grandparents, Melody Grant of Stillmore, Vernon Worthen of Swainsboro, Wayne Williams (Rose) of Metter and Charles Burrell of Swainsboro; great-grandparents, Leroy (Sylvia) Phillips of Stillmore and Willie (Hattie) Williams of Cobbtown; brother, De’Rico Burrell; sister, De’Asia Drummer; five aunts; six uncles; and a host of other relatives and special people in his life.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
