The 2025 Miss East Georgia State College Scholarship Pageant was held Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. in the Luck F. Gambrell Center Auditorium. Katelyn Harris was crowned the new Miss East Georgia State College and Malana Moore was first runner-up. Jasmine Crew was named the People’s Choice Award winner. The seven contestants who competed for the crown participated in a private interview with the judges, on-stage questions, casual wear, and evening gown.

Katelyn Harris is the 19-year-old daughter of Emily and Joshua Harris of Guyton, Georgia. She also received the Interview Award during the pageant for having the highest interview score. Katelyn is currently studying elementary education at EGSC. During her year of service, Katelyn’s community service project will be “Anxious to Meet You,” a program to mentor young women struggling with anxiety.

Malana Jayne Moore, who was named first runner-up, is the 19-year-old daughter of Tim and Alice Moore of Jefferson County, Georgia. She is currently studying criminal justice.

Jasmine Denise Crew, the People’s Choice Award winner, is the 20-year-old daughter of Kimberly Dunn and Kiwanis Curry of Grovetown, Georgia. She is studying business administration.

The Miss EGSC Pageant Board would like to thank Southern Traditions Floral and Gifts for donating the beautiful bouquets the winners received. The board would also like to thank All Star Dance Academy for providing the entertainment during the event, and the many volunteers who made the pageant a success.
