Dess Smith held the ticket bucket while Herman Middlebrooks, Swainsboro City Manager, drew the winning ticket belonging to Ed Daniels. Bobbie Daughtry sold the most shotgun tickets at 150. Lt. Governor Chris Wiggins and Tim Goodman presented a 55-year Legion of Honor pin to Edwin Canady, a member of the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club since November 1, 1970. Kiwanis were updated on the Girl Scout Troop by leaders Chasity Boyd and Aneida Smallwood, and they now have 14 members. Curtis and Kellie Armstrong and Daniel and Karen Moxley were present representing the local Sheriff’s Department, and Shari Watt, Danielle Johnso, and Alana Herrington were present representing the Franklin Memorial Library.
