LaTorchia W. “Toi” Cotton, age 73, departed this world on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, July 5, at 3 p.m. at Green Cemetery in Midville.

Toi was born June 2, 1952, in Atlanta and was educated in the Atlanta Public School system. At a young age, she moved to Detroit, MI where she attended the University of Detroit Mercy. In 1982, Toi and her son, LaBronza, moved back to Atlanta where she gained employment at BellSouth and retired after 27 years of service. She was a woman of faith and will. Toi loved her family, various types of music and caring for her indoor plants. She was affiliated with the Big Bethel Village Community Church (Big Bethel AME Church). Ms. Cotton is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and grandson, Jordan T. Hodge Mills.

Ms. Cotton leaves to cherish her memories with her son, LaBronza D. Cotton (Tonya); grandson, Quintin Mills-Smith, all of Pooler; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
