Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mrs. Mary Rebecca Campbell Sluder, age 99, of Swainsboro, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 29, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Culbreth officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Tomlinson Funeral Home. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.

Pallbearers will be Petey Amerson, Brandon Overstreet, Dylon Williams, Trey Amerson, Casey McCoy and Nate Williams.

Mrs. Sluder was born in Seneca, SC to the late Coke S. and Molly Nicholson Campbell. She was a homemaker and loved keeping children for many years. Mary kept in contact with them and was greatly adored by these many children. She also loved gardening. In addition to her parents, Ms. Sluder is preceded in death by her husband, Styles C. Sluder; sons, Stephen Sluder and Stanley Sluder; sister, Ruth Crooks; brothers, Bill Campbell, Doyle Camp-bell, Jimmy Campbell and Luther Campbell.

Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Overstreet (Jimmy) of Swainsboro and Lynn E. McCoy of Brooklet; grandchildren, Roxann Krueger (Steve), Rebecca Williams (Nate) and Casey McCoy (Lindsay); great-grandchildren, Emma Krueger, Dylon Williams, Jadyn Williams, Avery McCoy, Ellie McCoy and Mollie McCoy; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
