Mayor Donaldson brings local government to life for Twin City students

Third grade students at Twin City Elementary received a special visit last week from Mayor Matt Donaldson, who took time out of his schedule to speak with the students about local government. The visit was part of the students’ social studies curriculum, which included a unit on government. Mayor Donaldson’s engaging talk helped students make real-world connections to what they’ve been learning in the classroom. The visit served as a memorable and educational experience for the students, many of whom were excited to ask Mayor Donaldson questions!
