Melissa Frazier, age 50, succumbed to injuries from a sudden and tragic incident, leaving her family and friends speechless and heartbroken, on Thursday, November 20, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, November 29, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Wiggins officiating and Rev. Larry Sherrod presiding.

Melissa was born January 5, 1975, in Swainsboro, to the late Charlie Durden and Isa Mae Frazier. She resided in Swainsboro where she attended public schools and was a graduate of the best class that ever came through Swainsboro High School, class of 1994. Melissa had a natural gift to make you laugh. She was kind, quiet and free-hearted. Affectionately known as “Foxy Brown”, she embraced her life, enjoyed it to the fullest and loved the people who were in it. Melissa had a deep passion for cooking Sunday meals EVERY SUNDAY!

Melissa’s daughter and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending time with them, traveling back and forth to McDonough over the years. Ms. Frazier is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sandra Frazier.

Ms. Frazier leaves precious memories to her daughter, Elizabeth Brianna Frazier; grandchildren, Willie Archie, Jr. and Favour Parrish of McDonough; brother, Calvin Frazier of Swainsboro; sisters, Janice Brown-Jackson of Augusta and Lashaunda Frazier of Swainsboro; aunt, Isabelle Frazier of Swainsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mosley’s’ Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
