Ms. Melissa Johnson Wheeler, age 57, of Swainsboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at PruittHealth Swainsboro. Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Lisa was born September 26, 1967, in Swainsboro, to Carlton Allen Johnson and Mary Smith Johnson. She was a proud resident of Swainsboro. Lisa was a daughter, mother, sister and “NaNa”. She was such an outgoing person who loved music and dancing. Lisa enjoyed going to motorcycle rallies and spending time with her family and friends. She was always the life of the party and was always smiling. Lisa was always independent, full of life, dependable, and had a personality that would light up the room. Ms. Wheeler was preceded in death by her father.

Ms. Wheeler is survived by her mother; Mary S. Johnson of Swainsboro; son, Remington Lamb; daughters, Tiffany Lamb and Amber Howell; brother, Allen Johnson, all of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Kelcie Morris, Dalton Morris, Chestlee Lamb, Emberlie Lamb, Walker Wade and MaryJane Scarboro; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
