MLK Commemorative Service and Celebration to be held

A Commemorative Service for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held Sunday, January 14, at 6 p.m. at Greater St James Missionary Church. The speaker will be Rev. David L. Stanley, Sr., pastor at Union Baptist Church in Macon and the theme will be “The Time Is Always Right To Do What Is Right.” The MLK parade will be Monday January 15. Lineup will start at 11:30 a.m. at the 4-H Club House and the parade will start at 1 p.m. There will be an entry fee of $30 for cars and $35 for vans and trucks/floats.
