Mrs. Molly Elyce McNeely, 79, of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 28, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery. Family received friends Saturday, December 28, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Molly was born on September 13, 1945, in Metter, to the late Fred Marsh and Elyce Rachels Marsh. Mrs. She was of the Baptist Faith. McNeely is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny McNeely; son, Donald McNeely; daughter, Maggie Elyce Atkinson; sisters, Florine Rich and Joyce Moore; and brother, Gerald Marsh

Mrs. McNeely is survived by her son, Charles McNeely (Judy) of Germany; daughters, Geraldine Arledge (Judson) of Swainsboro, Johnnie Faye Coleman (Danny) of Canoochee and Catina Kirby (Mike) of Swainsboro; brother, Robert Marsh (Cindy) of Swainsboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
