The annual Pine Tree Festival Tennis Tournament was held on April 25-26 on the campus of East Georgia State College. Twenty-Nine participants came from surrounding areas with some coming back home to Swainsboro from further away to help support the tournament. Weather was great but with some elevated temperatures and high humidity for April. But, of course, as long as there is no battle with rain, with tennis, it is a great time.

The tournament directors wish to thank East Georgia State College for always allowing this tournament to be held on the campus and for such great accommodations. Six events were held with the following winners and runners-up for each event:

Boy’s Singles

Champion: Lawson Martin

Runner-Up: Will Peters

Men’s Singles:

Champion: Seth Lamb

Runner-Up: Ethan Goodman

Men’s Doubles:

Champion: Ethan Goodman/Landon Goodman

Runner-Up: Seth Lamb/Evan Donaldson

Boy’s Doubles:

Champion: Lawson Martin/Matthew McCoy

Runner-Up: Jackson Cavannah/Dawson Goodman

Mixed Doubles:

Champion: Kirstyn Galgon/Brian Galgon

Runner-Up: Vanessa Morris/Beau Gunn

Women’s Singles
