10 defendants indicted in January 2022 term

An Emanuel County grand jury indicted 10 individuals on January 25. The January 2022 term saw the district attorney’s office present 11 bills of indictments for consideration, and the grand jury returned true bills for all cases.
Jean-Paul Michael Collins was indicted on two counts child molestation.
George Richard Clifton was indicted on three counts child molestation.
Larry Burton Bailey III was indicted on three counts aggravated assault and one count aggravated stalking.
Hugh Avery Glisson was indicted on two counts aggravated assault, one count terroristic threats, one count hindering an emergency telephone call, one count criminal trespassing, one count theft by taking, and one count kidnapping.
Markell Antivirus Kelsey was indicted on one count possession of an illegal weapon and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Mitchell Steven McCoy was indicted on one count criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Wesley Morgan Holloway was indicted on first-degree burglary and possession of methamphetamine, one count each.
Christopher Joseph Mrozowski was indicted on three counts obstruction of an officer, three counts terroristic threats, one count interference with government property, and one count possession of a drug-related object.
Melody Nichole Dennis was indicted on one count aggravated assault, one count obstruction of an officer, and one count mutiny in a penal institution.
Walter Allen Hall was indicted on one count failure to register as a sex offender.
There being no further business, the grand jury recessed.
