12 indicted by grand jury

The District Attorney’s Office presented 11 bills of indictment to the Grand Jury, and the Grand Jury returned 11 true bills as the April 19, 2023 Emanuel County Superior Court grand jury convened.

Heather Correll was indicted on 8 counts of aggravated assault.

Karon Eddie McNeal, Jr., aka, Daron Eddie McNeal, Jr. was indicted on fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and driving under the influence.

Charles Jenkins Lafavor was indicted on possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug-related objects.

Greggory Steward was indicted on one count of theft by taking.

Tywan Lekeith Boynton was indicted on three counts of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, two counts of driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving while license is suspended.

Yolanda Nicole Artis was indicted on one count of cruelty to children in the second degree.

Andrew Michael Bazemore was indicted on criminal attempt to commit a felony and simple battery (family violence).

Wesley Odom was indicted on aggravated stalking and terroristic threats.

Zananii Zahah Hosang was indicted on fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and driving while license is suspended.

Robert James Bell and Jasper Timothy Baker were indicted on one count of homicide by vehicle in the first degree and two counts of driving under the influence and under the age of 21.

Benedict Anthony Campbell was indicted on burglary in the first degree.
