2021-2022 enrollment ongoing
With the enrollment period for the new 4-H year now open, Emanuel County Extension agent Jakyn Tyson hopes to see a great turnout of new and returning members alike. The local program also hopes to see an interest from prospective volunteers.
The program year began August 1, 2021 and will continue through July 31, 2022. 4-H accepts new members all year long, but regardless of when a 4-H’er signs up, he or she must complete an enrollment form annually. Forms can be completed in person during 4-H meetings or may be completed online at the following URL: https://secure.georgia4h.org/enrollment/register/?county=Emanuel%20County.
4-H is open to youth in grades four through 12. These children must live in Emanuel County or go to school here. Membership is free, but individual clubs and activities may have other costs and registration fees.
Individuals interested in becoming a volunteer can fill out a screening application at https://secure.georgia4h.org/enrollment/apply/?Office_ID=224. These persons are often looked to for assistance in delivering 4-H programs, chaperoning events, leading clubs, and so on.
