Adopt a dog through August 31

Emanuel County Humane Society (ECHS) is pleased to announce its “Dog Days of August” adoption event.

As in years past, the humane society is teaming up with the Betty Gambrell Animal Shelter to help move dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes.

Barb Moore of ECHS says the adopt-a-thon began August 15 and will continue through August 31. “If you would like to adopt your forever fur-baby, now is the time. The adoption includes the required rabies vaccination and the neutering/spaying for your pup. Please call or go by our shelter for more information to see if you qualify! They have a very good selection of all sizes and colors of doggies who need a loving home.”
