American Legion to hold music showcase in December

Swainsboro Post 103 of the American Legion has announced this week it will bring a music showcase to Swainsboro later this year.
Planned for December 4 at the Swainsboro Auditorium, adjutant Scotty Nasworthy says the goal is to allow businesses and individuals in Emanuel County to sponsor and advertise during the event.
In order to meet the goal, Post 103 is now seeking sponsorships from local businesses and individuals ahead of the showcase. By sponsoring and advertising, patron partners will be supporting the more than 1,600 veterans in Emanuel County and helping Post 103 provide assistance to those in the local community.
For a donation of $100, sponsors’ names will be placed on a rotating slideshow presentation that will be displayed during the entire showcase. Additionally, sponsors will receive two tickets to the show. Sponsors may design their own slide, e-mail a picture of their business card, use an advertisement from the local paper, or the post can design to any given sponsor’s specifications.
Those who agree to be a sponsor may present a check to Post 103, or Post 103 will mail an invoice, depending on the sponsor’s preference. Upon receipt of payment, a receipt and the two tickets will be delivered to you.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for your commitment and support to our community and veterans in Emanuel County,” said Nasworthy. “We hope that we can count on you to help support our veterans.”
