Athens band to play free concert downtown thisFriday

The Downtown Development Authority of Swainsboro will host a summer concert at The Boneyard Pavilion this Friday, June 25, featuring the music of Classic City Soul, a classic Motown, R&B, soul, and beach music band from Athens.

Downtown restaurants will open for pre-concert dinners. Many of those restaurants will offer take-out service for those who would like to have dinner while enjoying the concert.

The music is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The public is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and come out to enjoy this free event.
