For this week’s Athlete of the Week, The Crossroads Chronicle recognizes DEA basketball player Dylan Bird.
The senior guard is a sharp-shooter and able to stretch defenses as they try to cover him from beyond the arc. Bird just finished up his high school season with a game he won’t forget. In the final game of his high school career, Bird was on fire from deep. Alleluia Christian School had no answer as Bird poured in 21 points, including five three-pointers.
