According to Swainsboro High School’s Band of Gold, the first of those two dates is the deadline to register. The second reflects the date of the evening of elegance, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. inside Swainsboro City Auditorium.

Additionally, there will be a People’s Choice category for an extra $10. A wallet-sized photograph only may be submitted for the jars.

Miss SMS and Miss SHS contestants will be judged on the evening gown competition only. A mandatory rehearsal will take place on Thursday afternoon, March 17. Middle school contestants will practice will be from 4 to 5 p.m. with high school contestants’ practice to follow from 5 to 6 p.m. Placements will be drawn at this time.
