Barbara June “Mutt” English, 68

Funeral services for Barbara June “Mutt” English, 68-year-old resident of Twin City, were held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Williams officiating. Interment followed at Lamb Cemetery in Emanuel County. The family received friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. She died during the morning hours of Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her residence.
Ms. Barbara June “Mutt” English was born in Keysville, daughter of the late Luther Franklin Peebles and Ethel Skinner Peebles. An excellent seamstress, she worked for some of the textile plants that had been in the area as well as Savannah Luggage.
Survivors include her daughters, Angela McCullough (Steven Gay) and Samantha Hunnicutt (Timothy); son, Eddie English; grandchildren, Jessica Marie, Savannah Johnson (Dustin), Jamie Finch, Conner Oglesby (Kacey), Blake Lynn Anguiano (Luther), and Hunner Hunnicutt; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joey Peebles (Vicki) and Jimmy Dean Peebles; three sisters, Jo Ann Reynolds (Terry), Betty Jean Claxton (James), and Paula Wheeler (Paul); and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jamie Finch, Hunner Hunnicutt, Stewart Williams, Tripp Sikes, Luther Anguiano, and Davy Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers were Steven Gay and Gary Douglas.
Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
