Swainsboro High School’s tennis teams have been on a roll in region action as of late.
The boys secured three wins starting March 10. They defeated Vidalia in a home meet at East Georgia State College 4–1, then defeated East Laurens 4–1 on the road on March 15 before downing Toombs County 4–1 at home at EGSC on March 17.
The girls came up short against Vidalia, were rained out versus East Laurens, and edged out Toombs 3–2.
The Lady Tigers were set to travel back to East Laurens to make up the inclement weather match, but results were unavailable at press time.
Tennis season is now nearing a close; Swainsboro’s schedule indicates Tuesday matches in Brooklet against Southeast Bulloch and home matches against Bacon County on Thursday.
