Biggs, Taylor sentenced in superior court

Two men, Glenn Carlton Biggs and Jeffery Allen Taylor, were sentenced in Emanuel County Superior Court last week.

Biggs negotiated a guilty plea in case 21-CR-184, which consisted of one count possession of methamphetamine, one count possession of a drug-related object, one count speeding, and one count reckless driving. He was sentenced to three years probation and received $1,000 in fines.

Taylor, in case 20-CR-10, negotiated a guilty plea on one count possession of a firearm by first offender/conditional discharge offender. For this, he was sentenced to five years probation. Taylor also received a $50 fine.

Both of these cases were part of Emanuel County Superior Court’s April 2021 term.
