Braves Continue to Dominating

By: Justin Gray

The Atlanta Braves have been rolling for months now. They sit 3 games back of the New York Mets in the National League East. June and July were amazing months for the Braves enjoying a 39-14 record, the best in the Major League.

Braves superstars have stepped up such as Austin Riley who has emerged as an MVP front runner. The pitching has been just as dominant led by Ace Max Fried. Now it's time, they are deep in the season and the next two months are the deciding factor. In August, they will play the Mets nine times, this will play a major part in the final division standings.

The Braves are getting healthy again and getting some bullpen help. It will be interesting to see what they do before the trade deadline on Tuesday, August 2nd. They may look for another outfielder since Adam Duvall was ruled out for the season. They may also look to add another pitcher. This divisional race is going to be one for the books and is going to be fun to watch. The Braves upcoming schedule includes playing host to the Phillies August 2-3 and heading to New York to play the Mets August 4-7.
