Bride-to-be honored with shower

On January 22, bride-to-be Ms. Jessica Andrews was honored with a bridal shower at the visitor center at George L. Smith State Park in Twin City.

The shower was hosted by the bride’s mother, Sue Andrews, and friends/bridesmaids Lorie Love, Kaitlyn Campbell, and Naomi Hall. Ms. Andrews wore a pink dress with a snakeprint design, brown wedges, and a bridal sash.

Food and refreshments included a grazing table with a variety of dips, meats, cheeses, chips/crackers, fruits and veggies, brownies, cookies, and donuts. A yellow cake with buttercream icing made by Tracey Avery was also served.

Those who attended were close friends and family. Gifts received include money, gift cards, wedding and home décor, a Pioneer Woman pie plate, dish towels, a “Mr. and Mrs. Rountree” sign, dip spoons and a dip tray, a mortar and pestle, a serving plate, a knife set, an electric wine opener, picture frames, a cutting board set, an aroma diffuser, along with many other gifts. However, the most special gift was a garter made from her grandma’s wedding dress and a pendant from one of her necklaces.

Ms. Andrews is set to wed Mr. Matt Rountree on March 5, 2022.
