Burke Speaks to the Brier Creek Chapter
The Brier Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting for August at the American Legion, Sylvania, GA at 7:00 with President Wayne Howard presiding. There were 10 members in attendance.
President Wayne asked dual member Dess Smith for a report on the upcoming 132nd National Congress to be held in Savannah. He also asked dual member Wilder Smith to report on the special Artillery School that was held in Swainsboro this month and attended by 15 compatriots.
President Wayne then introduced Compatriot Steve Burke who presented his program on a "Sharpshooters, Shooter”.
