Burke speaks to the Fall Line

The Fall Line Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting, Tuesday night February 14, 2023, at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce at 7:00 p.m. President Sandy Mercer presided; 12 were in attendance.

Compatriot Steve Burke presented President Sandy with two flag streamers he received for presenting the Fall Line Chapter wreath at the Heroes at the Hornets' Nest event at the Elijah Clarke State Park on February 10th and the 244th Anniversary Kettle Creek Battlefield event where Steve presented a wreath for the Fall Line Chapter.

President Sandy also presented flag streamers he received at the Annual Georgia Society Conference in Duluth, Georgia on January 28, 2023: Distinguished Chapter Award, Membership Award, Americanism Distinction Award 2022 and the President General Distinction Award 2022. Compatriot Burke then presented his program on "Life on the Frontier 1700’s.”
