Chamber Member Spotlight: Security Finance

Security Finance was founded by Jesse L. Bridges and opened its doors in Spartanburg, South Carolina in October 1955.

For more than 65 years, Security Finance has proudly provided easy and safe installment loans to its community members. Thanks to their conveniently located branches, customers are able to receive personal service from people they know and trust. Security Finance says it as a company tries to be good stewards of the community, help neighbors in times of need, and treat customers with the respect they deserve.

Security Finance is licensed to offer traditional personal installment loans, which vary in amount, terms, and available ancillary products based on the state of operation and the type of license obtained in that given state. The company has offices conveniently located across the U.S., making it easier for customers to find the financial solution they need. Customers can find the office location closest to them by visiting the location finder at www.securityfinance.com/locations. In addition to offering personal loans, Security Finance also offers tax preparation services (which customers can learn more about at www.securityfinance.com/tax-preparation.)

Offering quick and easy solutions to financial stressors is what Security Finance does, but the desire to help fellow community members is why staff members do it. Security Finance keeps this intention at the forefront of everything the brand does and always strives to remember its mission, which consists of providing fast and friendly service to customers that meets their financial needs and significantly exceeds their expectations, providing a positive and rewarding work environment for employees founded on mutual respect and teamwork, continuing profitable growth and increased value for shareholders, and making personal and financial contributions to the communities in which they operate in a spirit of shared responsibility.

How Security Finance accomplishes its mission is as important as the mission itself. From the most inconsequential chatter with customers to the biggest of decisions made by executive management, there are fundamental values that guide every aspect of their day. Customers are the focus of everything they do. It is not the product but rather the customer service that must continually set Security Finance apart from its competition. People are Security’s most valuable resource; employees treat each other with trust and respect and foster teamwork and loyalty. The company’s future requires profits to survive, and the company will conduct its business in a socially responsible manner that commands respect for its integrity and for its positive contributions to the industry and the communities where they live.

Security Finance strives to offer superior customer service from well-trained and compassionate people and be good stewards in their communities. In 1995, Security Finance’s Lending Hand Foundation was formed as a long-term strategy for the company’s charitable giving. Two primary recipients of these ongoing contributions are the Children’s Miracle Network and the American Red Cross. Security Finance maintains that it is also a part of “Main Street.” The business’s brick-and-mortar locations provide a place where personal service and community interaction are still important and handling financial woes becomes a little bit easier. Being a chamber member allows the local branch to be involved in the community, opens up positive networking opportunities, and is a great source of credibility for the business.
