Chamber Member Spotlight: Vyve Broadband

Vyve Broadband, via the acquisition of Northland, has been an active member of the local chamber of commerce since 1994. The company has been working nonstop upgrading its fiber-based network to deliver speeds up to Vyve Gig internet. The current president and CEO of the company is Phil Spencer, and the local office consists of five employees.

Vyve is a leading broadband internet provider serving largely non-urban communities in 16 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, and, of course, Georgia. A technology leader in the broadband industry, Vyve Broadband offers an extensive range of broadband, fiber connectivity, cable television, and voice services for commercial and residential customers. Residential services include high-speed Internet with speeds up to Vyve Gig and high-definition video with some digital and fully featured digital voice. Vyve Business Services provides optical ethernet, PRI, hosted voice, and IT services to the business community.

The company believes in faster speeds, community involvement, and 100 percent customer satisfaction. Vyve’s passion is bringing the fastest speeds and best service to rural communities across the country. The company also strives to provide further insight into the businesses in the communities it serves while continuing to offer superior internet service at the lowest possible price. Vyve is driven to deliver the most stellar products and services customers could ask for. The company is freeing up—and speeding up—the way customers live it up. Get the most out of your new smart assistant or stream your favorite shows with Roku. With Vyve broadband, the speed you’ll need in the future is already here. Upgrades are being performed daily to bring the fastest most reliable services across the country.

Some of the ways Vyve is involved at the community level include it Christmas card contest, free wifi hotspots for the community, and corporate sponsorship of all local events. The 2020 Christmas card contest winner was nine-year-old Emily from Swainsboro Elementary School, right here in Emanuel County! The reason Vyve has been a chamber member all these years is for local networking and community involvement.
